The 2024 Eurofi High Level Seminar, organized in association with the Belgian EU Council Presidency, took place in Ghent on the eve of the informal Ecofin meeting. The seminar attracted over 1000 attendees from the public and private sectors and civil society, and featured 255 speakers from the EU institutions, Member States, the USA, Japan, Switzerland, the UK, and the international organizations.

The 50 sessions of the Seminar covered a wide range of topics, including Europe's macroeconomic challenges, the key policy initiatives in the financial sector underway at the EU and global levels and the sector's main vulnerabilities. Discussions also addressed EU policies for digitalizing financial services and advancing sustainable finance. Additionally, with the European elections on the horizon in June 2024, discussions were initiated on the priorities for the next European political cycle in the financial services sector.
